We had some wonderfully fun “family time” this morning, so I thought I’d share the blessing! Today was the first day in WEEKS that it hasn’t rained all day, so I got to go out and do some needed yard work. The kids pitched in and helped.

Beka and Gymnastics

Rebeka (our daughter, 7 years old) does gymnastics a few time a week, and a couple Saturdays ago, on June 14th, she participated in her first international tournament.

She took fourth place overall for her age group, third place in bars, and fifth in floor, beam, and vault. She did the best out of everyone from her gym. Needless to say… we’re kinda happy for her!

Our First Shooting Lesson

What a great family time! Teaching the kids to use a firearm. They did great once they got the concept of lining up the front sights in the back sights, and then laying the sights on the target. Don’t worry, it was just a pellet gun. We won’t be using a “real” firearm for at least a couple more weeks… :-)
